September 2010....4 months old looks like Alston is getting bigger height 52 cm and weight 28.5 Kg

Alston in first day in his new home in Slovakia

Little bit from Alston's backround....He was born in De Albis Rhapsody kennel in Czech Republic and he find his "forever" home with family in Slovakia. Looks like he had very happy life at least for few years. He grow up beside kids, attend to dog shows time to time and he also get his breeding licence as a certified stud dog in Slovakia. Some time after that things did not go well in the family and everything graduated when his owner passed on his own terms. Alston was under lots of stress, lost lots of weight. People, who inheritated him, they was not looking for to have a dog and they were going to send him over the rainbow bridge. When his breeder find about the Alston`s situation, he went to Slovakia and bring Alston back to his birth kennel and contacted us with the offer if we will be interested. We were a bit worry, because is not easy for older dog to join the pack, but his temperament was amazing and here he is....

September 2014....Introduction
In the fall I had trip to Czech Republic and I spend all week with Alston, to see, if he will be able to adopt and live with us in Canada. He was meeting strangers, adult and kids, went to the dog show, so I can see if he have problems with another dogs, and meny another activities. Nothing looks like to be a problem...yes, he need to put some weight on, but his teperament is fine

Front legs : elbows turning, rabbit paws
Hind legs : steep and narrow stance

October 2014...Alston slowly getting comfortable in our home with rest of our dogs. His best buddy is berner Max
and to Lucy looks like Alston reminding Matysek. Mastiffs girls are friendly, but a bit bossy with him. Will take a while
before everybody get used to each other. Alston watch our dogs to play, but keeping distance for now and we have
one more surprise...Harley is in heat !!! We hope in December Alston & Harley will be proud parents.

7.-9.11.2014...Alston First CKC dog show
Georgina Kennel Club dog show in Lindsay.
Very slippery floor and Alston like to run. I was able to stop him,
but I guess daddy will handle him for rest of the weekend :).
For his first time he did just fine.
All 3 shows 1st, WD & BOS

28.-30.11.2014...Caledon Kennel Club show
held in Toronto International centre
Alston take this show like a chasing game, bigger
ring, more running, more fun :) What can I say...

Christmas is here...
Alston enjoy his first Christmas over our place.
New toys, doggies yummy things and of course picture
have to get done, but he refused to be on the
picture by himself...where is my mommy ? His baby
boy did not care and sleep in Santa's hat
