Held in Markham
Two shows at the same day. A bit hectic, because scheduling was not perfect. Max was in the group in one ring and he spouse to be judged at the breed level in the second ring at the same time. Even then both of our dogs did well and they split the ribbons.

Lucy and Max attend to the Guelph & district dog show held in Fergus. Excellent success for both our dogs at the same day. On Saturday Lucy and Max both finish requirement for Canadian Champion. Max is not even 1 year old!!! Awesome.

Lucy on the way to meet her boyfriend
Is time to introduce Lucy and Barnum from Elevage Imier Kennel (Quebec). Looks like Lucy like this pretty boy, they play, but she was not really interested in the closer contact first day. The next two days Lucy was much more friendlier :-)))
I hope breeding was successfully done and we will have nice healthy puppies.

Pregnancy confirmed
Today we get confirmation by our veterinarian “Lucy is pregnant” and we expecting 5 or 6 puppies.

We have puppies
After all week measuring Lucy’s temperature everything seams normal, just yesterday she had a bit lower reading, but today looks like is still not right time. She was with me on backyard afternoon and then we went in and I fell asleep watching TV. When I wake up Lucy is on Matysek bed and beside her looks to me is my shoe. Max and Gia was beside the bed. As I’m getting up talking to Max and Gia how bad they are they take my shoe, but when I come closer I see that is not my shoe, but s a PUPPY!!! Exactly what I did not want to happen...puppy was born with assistance of our younger dogs Max and Gia. The first one was a Girl “RED”. Rest of them was already born in a litter box and with my assistance. No complication, everything went nice and smooth. Lucy taking care of them and she is a proud mom of 6 puppies ( 3 boys and 3 girls ).

Puppies growing
Our puppies are 1 month old today, everybody eat already puppy's food, mom still nursing them a bit but is not enough. All pups are playful, they like toys, our older dogs Gia and Max but the happiest they are if they can crawl on you and cuddle with you, they want all your attention. And here is progress on weight.

Max is back in the show ring
MUSKOKA KENNEL CLUB ALL BREED DOG SHOW
Held in Bracebridge Ontario
After a few months absence from the show ring due to his sister Lucy nursing ,Max went to the show ring for very first time by himself without Lucy or Matysek and also very first time in specialty class as a Canadian Champion. And how its go? He was very calm….finally show nicely at the breed level in both shows and get BOB. At the group level he probe he still a puppy :-) he was scared of Black Russian terrier who was right behind...so no group placement, but over all good show.
