Is Sunday night, my car showing -30 C and we are leaving for Westminster dog show in New York. Long drive, Agata was sleeping all the way and we entering The big New York city. Traffic is crazy, but looks like we find our hotel "Pennsylvania". Right across to Madison Square Garden on Manhattan. Great location, but hotel is not as good...line up for check-in, ugly, small room and service is just bad. Hotel is full of people and dogs attending to the show...I guess, if you want the real atmosphere of Westminster and convenience of the shuttle bus is worth to stay here. I'm tired, but still lots of things to do...Agata is walking on Manhattan...that is awesome :). We get back to our hotel, and now is time to go set up in Piers so in the morning won't be hectic. I found everything, Agata's bench, show ring..we are ready, at least I hope :)...bus ride back to hotel and bed time.
February 17, 5:30am..my alarm went on. Still in PJ's with Agata on Manhattan, snowing and is cold, trying to get a coffee and Agata is looking for the right spot. Quick shower, dress up and we are ready for bus ride to Piers. Bus is full, everybody seams in good mood and ready for big show. Agata's bench is ready, some of the mastiffs are already there and here is Jennifer Bittner, Agata's handler, great. Agata seams to be a bit shy, but I'm sure Jen will chear her up. Is almost 9am, little grooming and we are good to go :)...Kiss for good luck to Agata and team #19, Jen & Agata enter the ring. We did not placed, but Agata show realy nice with Jen...Congratulation to both of you and big thanks to Jennifer Bittner who presented Agata in all of her AKC shows and get her on Westminster carpet. We were very proud to be there and participate. It was honour for us and unforgettable experience.
